Azir Productions, based in Tetouan, was founded in 2013 with the ambition of building lasting bridges between Africa and Europe through cinema. The company has established itself as a committed independent production company, notably as one of the majority co-producers of the internationally acclaimed feature film Adios Carmen, which received numerous awards at major international festivals.

Working across both fiction and documentary, Azir Productions develops projects grounded in the social, human, and cultural realities of northern Morocco. These local narratives inform a demanding and sensitive cinematic approach, while remaining firmly grounded in a universal perspective.

The feature film Le Passage (2025), shot between Morocco and Spain, represented a key milestone for the company, consolidating its expertise in transnational production and long-term collaboration with European partners.
